About Me
My Background
I am an Ottawa area Artist and Author. I have been painting for over 20 years. I am a member or various art associations, have been juried into several shows and exhibit regularly in the Ottawa area. I have created several pieces of commissioned work and many of my pieces are in private collections. My work can be seen in my home studio by appointment by contacting me at info@doreendyet.com
I am also the author of the book Addiction Heartbreak (details below).
My Medium
I paint landscapes, flowers and other subjects in oils from my own photographs and other reference materials that leave me feeling compelled to capture, in my own colorfully vibrant way, the beauty that I see there.
